Driving Out Stigma August 2019

https://www.positivelyaware.com/articles/driving-out-stigma

Poz Haven's goal for the drive was to raise awareness about HIV in those states that have a higher rate of HIV diagnosis and show people the impact of HIV, stigma, self-stigma and depression among women of color and women of color who are of trans experience. We wanted to educate women living with HIV and HIV-negative women of color about PrEP, and about U=U (undetectable equals untransmittable).

We drove over 3,000 miles and over 90 hours of dive time.
